“Infinity Wall – Sumida Aquarium (2015)

Partner SUMIDA AQUARIUM / INTENTIONALLIES

The wall decorations for Sumida Aquarium.
It was for “Edo-rium” zone in Sumida Aquarium where goldfish is symbolically used as a hommage for history of ornamental fishes. Origin of aquarium in Japan is said to be “goldfish stall” back in the Edo period. It was not only to sell and buy goldfish but also one of social networking events at that time.

Ornament patterns with designs that remind us of Edo were installed in between mirrors. The wall gives you a feeling as if it continues infinitely and it links with heap of from the Edo period.
